Work at Premo

Are you looking for a job?

Would you like to work independently and at night time? Are you an responsible  and accurate person? If the previous questions match your personality this is the job for you.

The job at Premo will be outdoors a large part the time, and getting exercise comes as part of the job. Working nights leaves the day free for other things – a lot of our distributors combine working at Premo with other employments, or with studies.

The position used to be called “newspaper distributor”. But omitting the “newspaper”-part is a natural consequence of the fact that we nowadays, apart from newspapers also distribute magazines and periodicals, letters and packages. Simply “distributor” is an apt description of what we do.

We employ distributors of all ages. We are an equal opportunity employer and we are proud of the fact that we have employees originally from all parts of the world. Diversity is stimulating and we learn from each other every day.

A few words on the actual work

As a distributor at Premo, you will be stationed at one of our 40 local offices that are spread out all over the greater Stockholm area.

The job includes delivering newspapers to subscribers, as well as letters, magazines and periodicals and packages. You will deliver to all types of office buildings, apartment buildings, row-houses and houses. Some tasks are performed at the local office, for example reporting disturbances and answering complaints from subscribers. The distributor then gathers and loads the newspapers and any other goods for the night, before departing to his or her distribution district – or “trakt” as we at Premo call it.

Working hours and salary

The average working time is 2 hours/night, they occur some time between 02:00 and 06:00 AM Monday through Friday, and between 02:00 and 07:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday.

We offer a part time employment, and the exact working hours vary between different positions. Actual working hours will vary between different days of the week, and from day to day. You will however always have a guaranteed number of working hours per week, based on how you are scheduled.
